~BUT~ (the BIG 'but...')
I AM planning on doing my first ever Flea Market... as a 'vendor' in a few weeks...
... and with
a little elbow grease,
a hammer, some nails and some wood glue,
a steel brush and steel wool pads,
and some paint...
HOW DID I DO??
This is what they looked like by Wednesday evening! The weather was in the 60's on Wednesday, and it just seemed SO GOOD to be outside! They still need a little work, but I am pleased. ~AND~ I used all supplies that I already had in the basement... a $1 can of Rustoleum 'Summer Squash' spray paint from the Dollar Store, and leftover white trim paint from the kitchen. Think they'll sell???

GREAT JOB. (Junk is not a bad word, by the way).
Love that bookcase. Fabulous details and lines. And the birdbath. Fab-O. Are you sure you want to let them go now?????
Off to take a walk and hunt for garbage.......
it looks great!!! I have not sold on ebay in 3months, I got a fill time job! where are you selling?????? all I know around here on LI is bellmore Flea market
Oh yes! LOOKS SO GOOD!
I too do the garbage night drive by. My friend moved from our neighborhood last year, and we were famous for going walking before the sun went down to scout things out, and then going back after dark in our PJ's in the car for the "pick up". She sold a patio set we lifted from the trash at her garage for $60!
I got a full time job(not fill!!) i had a full time job for 16years then I sold for 4 years on ebay but the red cannister is staying in the kitchen!!! :) My name on ebay is Monimania, I had a website that i made in 1998 and its still there but pretty much untouched, I sold a couple of times at a fleamarket its just a lot of work!!!
my name is Monimania all over the internet, i took my name and the word Monomania(definition:Pathological obsession with one idea or subject) and combined them, I figured the pathologival obsession was collecting!!!!!!
Best of luck at the sale you will do great!!!!
They look amazing. I would never have been able to see the potential as you did.
Amazing what a little paint will do! Did you sand them first? That's the part where I always get hung up--I hate the sanding! I think your pieces would most definitely sell.
