RED! Leo Ward bird, who is glad that he isn't try to get at that snowy birdfeeder ...I have to get J (I'm tired of the 'DH' designation, and opting for just an initial - until I can come up with something more creative!) to show me how to do a proper photo!!

Is your goal to SELL 28 items or just to get rid of 28 items any way possible? I guess I should read your posts more diligently, huh? Why don't you just use your husband's first name? I was using all sorts of initials and cutesy designations but really, what's the difference unless he's really paranoid or something. For me, getting closeups is really hit and miss--I'm getting better at it with practice and a little advice from my niece. Re Etsy: I think I sold 3 items total--I don't think vintage does nearly as well as handmade on that site, and besides, there are too many incredible things to BUY on Etsy!!!
I haven't listed a THING. I had so many bad experiences with ebay in January - I've never had ANY issues in 10 years, but WoW, January was brutal. I kind of lost my Umphf. I have a bunch of photos taken and descriptions writen up, but eh....
That StarGlo dish you have on Etsy made me smile - we had those dishes when I was growing up (didn't we all....). I found a platter that I keep in my hutch - just for the memories.
You know I have The Bean and The Breadman - but that is really how I refer to them in the house. so it just came natural to me. I've never been a fan of the old DH term. "J" sounds good to me.
Hmm, my goal was to list or renew one item a day. I was doing great until I got sicker than a dog. Then I had a bunch of sales when I was too sick to pack them up. ACK! I also need to go find out what your challenge is. It looks like you are on a roll whatever it is!

Hubs is very particular about privacy so I can't use his name either. I don't like DH much so I had to use something that comes easy. I like "J".
As for the red bird photo, did you use the flash and make sure that the camera focused on the bird and not the background? Just my layman's suggestions.
