...here fishy fishy fishy...

AGAIN... a Friday of lackluster saling. Time for another 'WOW! Somebody else thinks ___ is fun/cool?!!' Todays entry goes out to Mis Elaine and her Miss Priss Fish.I have a definite weakness for these chalkware, 50's-70's, TACKY, red-lipped fish!!Not to worry. They have NOT taken over the entire house... AND they are NOT visible to general visitors!! They are all confined to one of our upstairs hallways which leads to the ~where else~ Master Bath!
So Elaine, if Miss Priss ever comes on the market - let me know so that I can get the adoption papers in order!!

WOW!!! Imagine my suprise to see a whole post, on someone else's blog, dedicated to lil' ol' me. Cool!! The fish...oh my...how long have you been collecting the fish? I have to say, I have never before bought a chalkware, or any other kind, of fish. First time for everything, eh? Have a new thrift shop in town...shhh, don't tell nobody...where the prices are sooo low, and the turnover so fast...and the manager even saves things for me...shhh! Miss Priss came from there, & I have heard a rumor...shhh..that she may be included in an upcoming...very soon...giveback from...taadaah!...Love2Junk. Stay tuned! *elaine* :o}

How fabulous, I love these chalkware fish and had them decorating the kids bath when we lived in Virginia Beach. I love them "en masse" like that. great idea! xo,suzy

Oh my God... someone with more fish than me -- you have NO IDEA how happy that makes me! I don't have chalkware, just ceramic, but they've, uh, bred.

Loving your collection -- and your blog!!!
