It has been said before that I'm "easily amused" and "a cheap date" - often taken as 'less-than-flattering' statements, but I guess it's true.

"FILL A BOX FOR THREE BUCKS"!
(Just buy a 'print paper box' and fill it with whatever you can!)

| Why are there some things that I just.can't.leave behind?? I have more mini C-clamps, Hot Glue Guns, Dymo Label Makers, and heavy old clunky staplers than I could possibly 'need' in a lifetime. Yet, I couldn't walk away from them?!! |

| This mini kit came WELL TAPED, so thought we were getting a 'Grommet set'. Imagine my surprise when we inspected it closer at home. Solid metal 'points' with 'screws'!?? I'm thinking some kind of shoe or cleat replacement spikes (golf? baseball?). Are these still legal (to sell?). Any market?? ~AND~ |

| Larger than marbles, metal, heavy and a Whole baggie full... WHAT ARE THEY FOR?? WHAT CAN WE DO WITH THEM???? All in all, I think we did okay. The fun-of-the-hunt and the sorting after kept me HAPPY for quite a while !! |

Wow you did great! Oh I would love to fill a box for $3. My eyes went straight to the white McCoy hand vase! LOVE IT! So much great stuff!

I filled a box for $5.00 once. I mean it was a HUGE box and I FILLED.THAT.THING.UP. So much, in fact, the ladies at the table were kind of embarrassed they offered it to me at $5.00. I handed them a ten and all was well. You got a lot of goodies - something to keep, something to create and something to sell - that's my new trifecta!
Ball bearings. Sometimes hard to find those buggers.I am still looking for the right size to replace the ones that fell out of my porch glider.
No clue on the cleats though, I would check fleabay.
Sometimes we're just in the right place and the right time. Gotta enjoy it while it lasts.

oh wow! I love those types of deals--I can never pass them up either :) Ball bearings are the big silver balls BUT my kids use them as marbles! Sorry it took so long get back here from Thrifter Share the last two weeks have been CRAZY! Thanks for linking up and showing me what I'm missing.
