...ENOUGH!! (for a while...)

Mom & Dad came for a short visit on Tuesday. We live about 100 miles apart, so these 'visits' are not a common accurance, though I would love them to be! Along with them, they brought a Belated Anniversary Box for DH & I to open! What do you think was in it??

A sweet little yellow HAEGER pitcher that will be part of our Thanksgiving Table vignette (2010 #35)

The 'mini' (I put that in quotes because it is still 12" tall!) version of a series of 19" ROYAL HAEGER pitchers that we already have in various colors. It does look right at home nestled in amongst a couple of them! (2010 #36)

and
last, but NOT least...

the ROYAL HAEGER tight mauve agate ruffled low bowl which now holds our Fish! (2010 #37).

Yes, I love and adore and enjoy all of our HAEGER pieces but right now after the last couple of months I'm on SERIOUS OVERLOAD!!!! I have found homes for all/almost all of them... BUT!! Time for a breather folks... Oh, I'm scared - My Birthday and Christmas are coming... I don't want to sound ungrateful!! Is it just me, or does anyone else ever get to this point from time to time???

It's not that I'm am 'tired' or 'bored' with our HAEGER... just feeling a bit overwhelmed right now - and the thought of boxing it ALL up and trying to find a place to store it - OH, that strikes terror into me!!!!!

Thought of you at the Salvation Army thrift store today. I picked up a linen thingy (napkin I think) and almost got excited because it looked like a Vera...but it wasn't. But I seriously had a conversation in my head in the 15 seconds that it took to look for the name. It went something like, "I have got to hunt up Sue's address so I can send her this Vera!". Ha ha. I even looked for Hager but nothing!

Oh yes! I get that way with Pyrex. Keep telling myself to slow down .....where will I put it!? But I usually give in when I see that 'must have' piece! lol

Yes, we have sea glass here in Nova Scotia. Some places are better than others depending on the past and present settlements in the area.
I really like your Haeger pitchers. Great lines!
