...LIFE according to the THRIFTS!

According to the Thrifts, 'LIFE' is just a Big YO-YO
A Great. Big. Wrap yourself up in it. YO-YO!
...Or so the Thrifts explained to me this past week when I happened upon this 92" x 98" gem.  No backing ~ just the face.

Not my style.
But I couldn't leave it sitting all lonely, and unappreciated on that Thrift store shelf.
Why I happened down that aisle... (it's not my usual path) - must have been fate.
 I don't know it's age.
I don't know it's history.
I don't know fabrics.

I just know that
I am proud to be
 the temporary guardian
of something that has had this much time and love put into it.

Late 70s/early 80s maybe? easier to date the fabrics if I can see the backs of the yo yos instead. :-)

Even if it's not super old, you can't discount the HOURS of work that had to go into that thing! It's a treasure for sure.

That is a great find. Such hard work in it! I think it is upside down though - but I think it is neat to see the workmanship on the backside. The back is the front and the front is the back? HUH?
