...getting that Fall Groove Back & a GIVEAWAY!!!!!

vintage wooden cat
with mouse appetizer forks
found recently @ a Bazaar!!
Seasonal weather / barometric changes always tend to wreak havoc with my migraines, and the past week has been a prime example!

I guess this made it twice as nice to have a BLOG SPARK package (Old El Paso Frozen Entrée) 'sitting in the wait' to be tested!!  I just sent J (husband) to the store with the coupon - told him to look in the freezer section... and HE did the rest - Cooked, Served, Cleaned up... HE even took the pictures for me to blog about this!!
(**NOTE: As anyone who has read my blog for any length of time can attest, I don't normally do these Product Reviews, but General Mills is providing a Very Nice PRIZE PACK to one of my Lucky Readers, and We normally buy Old El Paso products ~ so I thought  "What the heck!")

We make home-made beef enchiladas on a regular basis, so J decided to give the SHREDDED BEEF a try.  Some of the other options were Chix Quesadillas, Steak Fajitas, Chix Enchiladas and Shredded Beef Burritos...

Simple cooking ~ Oven, Micro or a Combo of the two...
J did the 'combo micro/oven'
They were yummy, albeit a 'bit small' (or maybe we just make our homemade ones a 'bit large'?!)

So, in their PRIZE PACK they include a VIP Coupon for an Old El Paso Frozen Entrée, a cool Mexican tile Chip & Dip tray and a $10 Visa Gift card.

Their website www.oldelpaso.com has some awesome looking recipes.  I'm thinking that they will be fun to try in our new Tile Tray for Holiday Parties (the tray is HUGE!!)

Interested??  This is going to be a quickie!  By Friday 12pm leave  a comment with your favorite Mexican dish, drink or dessert (recipe??)  and a way for us to get in touch with you, if you are the Lucky winner.
*SORRY ONLY AVAILABLE WITHIN THE USA!!
"Disclosure: The information and prize pack have been provided by General Mills through MyBlogSpark.:

All that vintage jewelry for only 10¢ each? That is crazy but so glad YOU got it all!

We bought one of the Old ElPaso Chicken Enchilada's a week ago and it was really tasty. I don't buy any big frozen entrees like that - so I was really surprised at how good it was! We eat Mexican food about four times a week. I had a burrito and a Chipotle Tostado for dinner tonight. Mmmmmm....Mexican!

Wow to your great thrift finds! Love all that great jewelry!

I love Quesadillas and eat them often. I love having a frozen meal to use on one of 'those' days! I use Old ElPaso products all the time. Thanks for the fun giveaway!

Your post has reminded me it's time to resurrect "Margarita Mondays"- especially since this is our birthday month:). I haven't met a Mexican food I didn't like but I'd have to say chicken quesadillas are my fave (washed down with a margarita of course!). P.S. My mom and I went to a few bazaars last weekend and didn't find anything nearly as fun as your cat and mouse thingie!

Christmas + Vintage Vera? Yes, please!!

We love Mexican food here! It's very popular in Denver. One of my favorite things to make is pork green chile with roasted chilies--we buy them by the bushel in the fall and they roast them for you and it smells like HEAVEN!! Put them in ziplocs in the freezer and then we pull them out all year long. I love it all--guacamole tostadas, enchiladas covered in green, chicken chimichangas...YUM!! All washed down with a nice cold fountain Dr. Pepper. :)

I'm so jealous of your jewelry haul!

My favorite Mexican dish is tamales- I have no idea how to make them because I buy them from a nice woman who speaks no English. I'm never even sure what I'm buying, but they've never disappointed!

My favorite Mexican dish is flautas. For as good as they are, they are very hard to come by. Even some larger Mexican restaurants don't have them on the menu.
