DH's Grandma had a Thanksgiving Cactus that always bloomed this time of year. She called it her Thanksgiving Cactus. So, if Grandma called it that - it's the real McCoy!
My Christmas cactus bloomed at Halloween this year. Maybe retail store spies were keeping an eye on it and that was their cue to bring on the Christmas stuff.
