...WHERE have I been?!!

J & I 'permanently' left our MOSAIC MARK in seaglass/concrete in Bermuda!

Sorry to disappoint you, but there is no 'JUNK' or 'STUFF' to be found in this blog entry... only 'Fun in the Sun' and an 'OVERLOAD of SEAGLASS', so if you aren't into that, you might as well click ((EXIT)) right now!!

(just as a wave came crashing from behind over the rocks!!)
Mosaiced fence at a local home.
J had read about a 'too good to be true' hidden section of beach in Bermuda where the seaglass was 4" - 6" deep. We didn't believe it, until we saw it!
Our 'home away from home' for a week.
street festival
LOTS of these in the waters!
'GOOD-BYE' too soon.
onto the next portion of our journey

How's this for a complete change in latitude?!!
Yep! A final two days in The Big Apple to round out the journey.
(Yes Andy, I was checking out all of the 'cupcakes'!!)

I can't leave you with those images,

That sea glass beach is AMAZING! How does it all end up there in one place?

Used to be a glass factory that closed up before WWI and this was their 'dump' (so the story goes from a local on the beach...)

I've seen that beach on a Treasure Hunter Show once. I don't know how you could chose which pieces to take - or can you take it? Is it protected? I visited the black sand beach in HI and you can't take even one grain of it in your shoe - they search you! Looks like a wonderful trip. Glad you had fun! (NYC is on my Bucket list too...)

Ohhhh--how perfectly gorgeous! And you got to go to NYC too--I LOVE NYC! Sue, did you get the email I sent you re the pearl sweater clip? I didn't just want to send it if you already have one just like it . . . or does that matter? Now that I've seen all that beautiful sea glass I want to go to Bermuda, but hurricane season is about to start to that's not gonna happen. Glad you had a wonderful time!

Love, love, love sea glass! I hear that it's "rare" now and one day will be obsolete as more and more things are made out of plastic. Doesnt look like there is a sea glass shortage there!

Lovely!

Would have loved to snatch some seaglass.

Just got home from a little jaunt to NYC and NJ. Cupcakes in hand!
